Claire Sandow

I’m a lifelong Georgia resident who loves sharing stories about the people and places that make
our state special. While I was raised in Northwest Georgia, I now call Savannah home. I love
getting out and exploring my city with my spouse and my daughter: we’re lucky to live in such a
beautiful place with proximity to historic sites, beaches and nature!

What’s your travel style?

I definitely research before I travel and go in with a plan. My daughter is a wheelchair user, so
we’re always checking for accessibility wherever we go and devising methods to make the less
accessible places accessible.

What Georgia spot feels like home to you?

Milledgeville! I attended Georgia College & State University and made so many wonderful
memories there. It has a special place in my heart and I enjoy any time I get to revisit the
beautiful campus, historic downtown and delicious restaurants.

What’s one thing you always do when you travel?

Find the best local coffee shops and the best parks!
