Brandon Buford

Hey, I’m Brandon Buford—born in Morgan City, LA, now soaking up life in North Georgia with my awesome wife and our three teenagers. I’ve lived and traveled all over, chasing my curiosity and love for discovering new places. When I’m not playing guitar, you’ll find me exploring museums, diving into history, searching for the best ice-cold local brew, or getting lost in the mountains and trees. Nature, music, and adventure fuel me, and I’m always up for the next great escape!

What’s Your Travel Style?

“I’d call my travel style “strategized lounging.” I love scoping out the must-see spots in an area and then kicking back to fully soak it all in—the vibes, the culture, the history, and of course, the best bites and brews. It’s all about making the most of each place without rushing through it!”

What Georgia Spot Feels
Like ‘Home’ to You?

“The museums, state parks, and concert venues around Georgia have really become a second home to me. The best days for me are spent relaxing and roaming around Dahlonega, catching a show at The Eastern or Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, or hanging with the kids at Black Rock State Park.”

What’s One Thing You
Always Do When You Travel?

“Finding the best breakfast nook is an immediate, essential task for me. Often traveling with my wife, we like to start our adventures by laying out the day’s plan over a locally made breakfast and a cup of coffee. (Big plus if there’s a great plate of waffles involved.)”
