You could say a love for travel runs in my family. Whether exploring the North Georgia mountains or sinking my toes in the sands of the barrier islands, Georgia has been my home and also my favorite destination. I’m a mom to three girls and we are working to instill a love of adventure in their hearts, too! I love to share my best travel tips and itineraries and post our explorations on social media. When I’m not working, you’ll catch me enjoying an extra dirty martini, working my latest artsy hyperfixation, or keeping up with my toddler.
My travel style:
My travel style definitely depends on the destination. If I’m going somewhere new, I’m all about creating a set itinerary, making reservations, and overpacking so I have everything I could possibly need. When I’m going to the beach or somewhere familiar, my biggest concern is making sure I have a good book and a comfy pair of shoes!
What Georgia spot feels like home:
Elijay feels like home every time I visit. I’ve been visiting since I was young, camping with my grandparents, tubing on Carters Lake, and visiting for the Georgia Apple Festival. I even got engaged at Engelheim Vinyards!
What’s one thing I always do when I travel?
I always find a good breakfast spot to start the day at. I’m not much of a breakfast person when I’m home, but on vacation, I want to indulge in a fluffy waffle, bite in to some crispy bacon, and sip on a latte (regular milk and a double shot of espresso, please!).
